Semarang (13/07) - In the framework of monitoring of Idul Fitri 1437H/2016 Air Carrier, the Minister of Transportation, Ignatius Jonan held a working visit at Ahmad Yani International Airport Semarang on Tuesday (12/07) at 15:00 Western Indonesian Time. The arrival of the Minister of Transportation was welcomed by the General Manager, Danlanumad Ahmad Yani, and other officials at VIP Room of Ahmad Yani International Airport Semarang.
The Minister of Transportation chatted for a moment with the General Manager and other officials in the VIP Room. Around at 15.30 Western Indonesian Time he went to the Poncol Station to monitor homecoming. In the afternoon at 17.30, the Minister of Transportation back to the Ahmad Yani Airport to check the terminal area.
He headed the passenger departure terminal. On arriving in the departure lounge area, the General Manager explained that the Ahmad Yani International Airport Semarang has made the expansion of existing terminal, which refers to the Ministerial Regulation No. 129 of 2015 which contains the Service Level Agreement in providing of services to the users of Airport service.
Therefore, Ahmad Yani International Airport Semarang conducted demolition of tenants in accordance with this regulation. After the General Manager explained in detail about the demolition and expansion that have been done, the Minister of Transportation gave appreciation. The Minister of Transportation said that the Manager of Airports must always improve the services to the users of airport services.
