Public is reminded to take caution of the recruitment scam using PT Angkasa Pura I (Persero) credentials which have happened again recently. Besides through the vacancy ads on the internet, the job opportunity announcements at PT Angkasa Pura I (Persero) have also been widely spread through social media and text messages/Whatsapp.

The operation goes with the perpetrator informing about job vacancy by citing free membership emails (usually gmail/ yahoomail) as the designated address to send applications. Following that, based on the emails received, the perpetrator will then contact the applicant, informing that they need to participate in a test (usually located outside of Jakarta, like Bali. The address used for test location is also false, while the test itself was never meant to happen). In the email it will also be mentioned that the applicant needs to reserve their flight ticket/ hotel room to a travel bureau (another false). It is from here that the ticket took their profit, which is from the money transferred by the applicant in ordering flight ticket/hotel room.

In light of such, PT Angkasa Pura I (Persero) reminds the public to not easily trust the kinds of job vacancies. Any recruitment announcement from PT Angkasa Pura I (Persero) will be broadcasted via national mass media and PT Angkasa Pura I will put in disciplinary action to any sort of scam using the company’s credentials. Public is advised to always be cautious, or report any indication of scam via email.
